About Me...

Growing up in the Hunter Valley NSW, is where my passion for beading began, My parents sold antiques at markets in the region & I spent all my pocket money collecting beads & beading patterns at these markets. Soon enough I was selling my own beaded daisy chain bracelets & Necklaces in a stall set up right next to my parents!! This became my first business!.

I moved to Queensland when I was 13, While at high school I started my affair with Art & attended private tutoring, refining my creative spirit. During School I won several art awards. I was also heavily evolved with community youth groups & art projects.

I began selling on ebay under the name of “Happilyeverartist” in 2003.
To current date I have sold over 80 paintings, lots of jewellery & beads around the world to very happy customers!.

My work also sells in a few local & interstate boutiques, the constant work has allowed me to continue as a full time artist. In this time I bought a lot of lampwork beads & got to know the artists who made them, they encouraged me to seek out the knowledge on how to melt glass & give it ago.

Glass has always intrigued me, I have a large glass collection & I often include glass in my Artworks, so making glass beads seemed a natural progression for me, which I have taken to, like a moth to the flame..

I have found that progression has led to absolute passion for the art of glass beadmaking, & glass has taken over as my main artistic expression.

In 2007 I took up postion as Artist in residence for a year at one of Australia's largest glass suppliers, where I taught & helped grow the industry by passing on this passion for glass.
My work has been featured in a few Australian publications including Beads etc & Australian beading.I often write tutorials on how to make glass beads & jewellery for Australian beading, something i have really enjoyed doing !...
My work also came second in Australia's lampwork artist of the year competition held by Beads etc in 2008....
My hope for the future is to continue growing as an artist, learning as much as I can about glass & continue passing on the passion for glass to others...
Thanks,
