The Magic Peacock Feather Collection..." Honesty"
Part of my on going eclectic style sets featuring one of my new Peacock feather focals & a collection of magical looking beads .... All in intense, rich, lush shades of teals, blues, purples & cream beads in a interesting range of shapes & sizes.
Some of the beads are filled with dichroic sparkle & some are made from wonderous silver glass that gives them beautiful multi coloured metallic shine.
The Peacock Feather focal bead in this particular set measures approx 3.6cm in diameter, coin like in shape & is the largest bead in the set.
The feather is slightly raised in parts & rests on a rich teal green base with silver leaf & raku frit encased inside, giving the back of the bead depth & sparkle...the bead was quite hard to photograph due to the silver glass shine!, I guarantee these beads are much more beautiful in real life...
This bead is large enough to make a gorgeous focal pendant for a necklace piece.
The whole strand of 20 beads measure 31cms all up.....
All beads were created on a 1/16th mandrel.
They are really just gorgeous!! & Im really enjoying creating this collection, I'd love to see what some savvy designer creates from these...
Something truly devine Im sure !...
Like all my beads they have been carefully annealed in a digital kiln before being cleaned with a diamond bit & inspected before sale...
