Here is a colourful collection of my glass sea urchin beads.. 10 in total, all made with italian glasses , decorated with glass powders & frits.
Each bead has then been etched to give that smooth matte beach glass finish...
They have been matched with a set of clear beach glass style disks (11). Some etched & others left clear & shiny.
These beads would make a wonderful organic style bracelet of Necklace.... But each one is wonderful enough on its own to be used a a feature bead.
The largest of the urchins measure 17 x 17mm ( approx) & the smallest being around 12 x 15mm... the entire strand measures 19cm....
Like all my beads they all have been kiln annealed in a digital controlled kiln & fully cleaned with a diamond bit....
